ABSTRACT With the help of CCD images, the realization of high precision positioning and measurement has become the basic standard for machine vision and real time photogrammetry systems. However, deformation and other sorts of degradation occurring during transmission are major limiting factors of the precision attainable with most current CCD cameras and frame grabbers. So a precise radiometric and geometric transmission of images from CCD sensor to memory is a fundamental aspect of CCD camera calibration. The geometric calibration system, which uses some image processing algorithms of the CCD camera based on the researched and developed system is discussed. The reliability and validity are also discussed. The experimental results for the calibration of the CCD array will be taken as an important quality index for CCD evaluation. 相似文献

This paper deals with transformation procedures for observed GPS data from the world geodetic system WGS-84 into the national geodetic grid datum S-UTCN (system of united trigonometric cadaster network) and Baa (the Baltic Sea after adjustment). The paper gives an overview of the current status of education in geoinformatics in China. First, the paper provides a brief introduction to the history of geoinformatics education in China and a general review of the scientific and technological development. It then presents how the development affects the education and training in China. In the paper, universities and institutes in China that can award academic degrees related to geoinformatics are summarized, and undergraduate majors are briefly introduced. Next, the paper reports the work having been done by the national expert group on Surveying and Mapping, including the revision of discipline catalog and guide for graduate education and requirements. A list of typical curricula in geoinformatics education is suggested. Activities on promoting the graduate student exchange platform are presented. This study uses high-resolution (HR) satellite imagery to quantify the stock of buildings, referred herein as building stock. The risk assessment requires information on the natural hazards and on the element at risk, that is the building stock in this article. This study combines (1) texture-based image processing to map built-up areas, (2) statistical sampling that allows locating the building samples and (3) photo-interpretation to encoding building footprints. Statistical inference is then used to quantify the building stock per class of building size. Legaspi in the Philippines is used as a case study. The results show that texture-based computer algorithms provide accurate area estimations of the built-up, that the detail of HR imagery allows the mapping of single buildings using photo-interpretation, and that a systematic sampling approach that uses building encoding and built-up maps can be used to quantify the building stock. 相似文献
